The Software Engineer- Infodrive CX will play a key strategic role within the Engineering team. This role:

  • Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors Infomedia’s software product.
  • Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work and that of peer engineers.
  • Creates and documents detailed designs for software applications or components by applying agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns and tools
  • Work under the supervision of a senior software engineer or a technical lead.
  • Interact effectively with other developers, architects, product managers, User Interface designers, testers, and production engineers to improve software design and quality

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years as a software engineer – our tech stack includes Java, Javascript, MySQL
  • A proven track record of delivering high quality SaaS software product and promoting engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Agile software delivery
  • AWS and DevOps experience required, preferably experience in container technology
  • Good understanding of database design principles
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Strong desire to learn and adapt to new software techniques
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent academic qualification
